Area: A = b × h
Perimeter: P = 2(b + s)
A = b × h = 10 × 5 = 50 P = 2(b + s) = 2(10 + 6) = 32
Values in feet; areas in sq ft.
About the parallelogram
Opposite sides parallel and equal. The area uses the height measured square to the base — not the slanted side, which is the commonest mistake.
Every formula on this site is explained step by step in Learn: area and perimeter.
